About BuildMatch
BuildMatch is a premium contractor marketplace. Every contractor on our platform goes through a 48-hour vetting process covering licensing, insurance, and track record before they're admitted to the network.
When you submit a project, we match you with a single, handpicked contractor who pays to connect with you. One call, one job — the kind of private client experience that serious renovations deserve.
What We Do
BuildMatch handles the full lifecycle of a renovation — from the first project description to contractor connection. Every contractor is reviewed for licensing, insurance, and work history through a 48-hour vetting process before being admitted to a limited network.
For contractors, BuildMatch replaces high-volume, low-quality lead sources with curated, exclusive project matches in their service area. Contractors invest in the platform because the projects are real and the introductions are intentional.
How It Works
Submit Your Project
Homeowners submit their project details — scope, budget, timeline, and location — so the platform can understand the project requirements.
Intelligent Matching
BuildMatch evaluates contractor experience, availability, proximity, licensing, insurance, and track record to identify professionals best suited for the project.
Contractor Connects
Matched contractors review the project and reach out directly to the homeowner to discuss details, provide estimates, and begin planning the project.
Founder
BuildMatch was founded by Cameron Fournier after seeing firsthand how inefficient the contractor lead industry had become.
After spending more than five years working in the AI and fintech space — helping companies generate hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue and capital raises — Cameron began looking at the home renovation industry through a different lens.
Growing up around construction and working closely with contractors throughout his life, he saw the opportunity to build a platform that works better for both homeowners and contractors.
BuildMatch is being developed to support the full lifecycle of renovation projects — from the first inquiry to the day construction begins.
