Getting started
For homeowners
Create an account, describe your project, and we'll match you with vetted contractors in your area. Review profiles, read reviews, and request quotes — all from your dashboard.
For contractors
Sign up and complete the verification process to start receiving leads. You'll provide license information, insurance details, and a portfolio of past work during onboarding.

Account management
Update your profile
Go to Settings from your dashboard to update your name, email, or password.
Delete your account
Visit the Account section in Settings. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Forgot your password?
Use the “Forgot password” link on the login page to reset it via email.

How matching works
BuildMatch uses your project details — location, scope, budget, and timeline — to find contractors who are the best fit.
Requesting quotes
Once matched, you can request quotes from one or more contractors directly through the platform.
Accepting a contractor
Review proposals, compare quotes, and accept the contractor you feel most confident in.

Creating an account and browsing contractors is free. Fees may apply when you accept a quote or make a deposit through the platform.
Contractor fees
Contractors may be charged lead fees or subscription fees depending on their plan. Details are provided during onboarding.
